d and i went on a road trip yesterday to visit an old friend, slash farmer, slash mechanic, slash custodian.
i've said it before and i'll say it again...the information contained within the minds, hearts and the souls, of the people who have trod the road before us is the thing to embrace in this generation.

Indeed. Cherish the stories of the wise old-timers. You and I would be proud to be one of "those guys" someday. Hopefully by that time there will still be a few people willing and wanting to listen.
That man is indeed a font of knowledge Matt....he looks very much the farmer these days too.
If we don't no-one will. more red wine and long baked dinners needed to unlock what it is that treasure trove! What a bloke.
