34 dodge...

....i had a long day yesterday and drove the 34 up to sydney to be returned to its home...it went like a beaut and didnt skip a beat....the trip home was a bit faster in the wifes f truck though...

machine 1 ... my bandsaw....

...ive been wanting to post some photos of my machines since i started this blog but never had a camera that could take the right photos.....no excuses now... heres some shots of my bandsaw.... pehaka..made in 1961 in west germany...blade length is 2400mm...its a ripper...the job never gets hot cause the blade is so long...its got a built in welder and grinder so that if you snap a blade or have a roll of blade then you can repair or make your own.... its one of the best machines i ever bought....and i use it all the time..

my new camera today...hopefully i will be able to get my license to ride it soon so i can post some better shots....of stuff....

50 PAN EXHAUST.....

.....in the interest of doing it properly i remade the exhaust...in stainless...but my god the mandrel bends that i got were oval....not round....i had to hand beat each cut, put them in the vice and heat them, before i tacked them, in order to get it right.....

NICE CHROME BITS....

....just back for the 50 pan....once again the guys at BLUE CHROME in sydney did a great job....they take their time but so reasonable on price...

ive been riding.....

...around the countryside all day...first on the pan and then on the xs in the afternoon.....eating hamburgers, visiting friends for afternoon coffee and general relaxation stuff....this holiday thing is good mates.

....ive got a week off so even though it looked like id get a wet arse i took the pan for a hit into town.....its funny how sometimes you wanna sell something but really you dont....so you try to sell it ...but you dont really try at all...cause there's just something about it...

78 YAMAHA XS 650....

....is pretty well done bar a few bits and pieces like side number plates and speedo and tacho cables and other little thingos....ive been enjoying it to and from town for a couple of weeks ...now i know why they used to race these things....quick. ...for all those that emailed me way back when about this bike it is going to go for sale... so if your still interested drop me a line....
