...nearly all sorted....joe got this 60 a while back (kind of special cause he was born the same year and he'd been looking for the right bike for a long time.....but it was all over the shop, not firing properly and breaking down under load, running rough and all the other stuff that drive you nuts....

i fitted an old 6v norton coil i had around...sorry...lucas not norton...and instantly it improved...so i ordered a new repro coil, new leads, points and spent some time getting the linkert dialed in... i had my camera on the wrong settings and so all my shots came out dark....but...i kindo like them. god created some beautiful bikes.

hes been working hard on this one for a while....when is she coming down to get a workout on the dirt roads mate....?

engine sprocket...

...for mikes wl......so im making a sprocket with firstly a special offset to suit the new gearbox, secondly, one that will fit the standard wl crankshaft and thirdly will accommodate a duplex setup for the triumph gearbox.

heres part one...the original triumph crank sprocket.....and a section i machined up to fit the rear of that sprocket. im going to anneal the sprocket and then take out the inside section to allow me to fit nut home.

next im going to machine the standard wl sprocket to accept my spacer.....lengthy process ...maybe someone has done something similar and can let me know how they did it....

was wondering why this scribbly gum i planted was suffering and its cause of this guy....emperor moth caterpillar....i relocated him to a tree twenty times the size...they aint blue but the one i got on my chest is...

gearbox adjusting mount....

started on the gearbox adjuster today...

and finished off the rear guard/fender mounts.

pad ...

for mikes bike... pad will be done by the local saddler just like the seat...

got some stuff planned for the rear of mikes bike....i want to mount the tail light/ stop light down low but no more number plate low down im gonna mount it off the guard/fender and have a separate plate light.......more legal like.

mikes wl....carb and manifold...

mike and i added a dellorto 32mm pumper to his build....i pretty well finished up the manifold tonight....i may cut it back just a touch more but shes pretty close to just right....
