Every time i thought i'd do a quick run around taking photos at oil stained brain id get to talking to someone and wouldn't get to it. So here is what i did take, i took a bunch on my phone too but i won't upload those. Great meeting up with everyone....old and new friends and the boys organising did a stellar job. Thanks for inviting me fellas it was a blast.

I'll be heading to Born Free 7 next year with my Norton that I built all those years ago. Ill be displaying it in the Guest area of the show ....big thanks to Grant and Mike for allowing me to be a part of it.....I have wanted to go since the first year but time and money never allowed the trip.

Here is the bike as it sat in the shed today. I will be stripping it completely and redoing everything including motor and box. It has sat for quite a while while I have been busy with other projects so it will be good for us to spend some time together again.

  

TMF 003 Peter Arundel's 1924 8 Valve Indian Racer

We have fixed on the next feature bike, Peter Arundel's 1924 Indian 8 valve..... Its a spectacular machine full of beautiful details and gorgeous patina. Off to photograph it tomorrow, hope we get some clear Melbourne weather.

100th anniversary of the first Australian TT

I headed over to Collector on the Ducati Sport with Mike on his Shovelhead to meet up with all the guys and girls celebrating the 100th anniversary of the first Aussie TT... great turnout, some new people to meet and some from years ago. Here are a few shots from the day...

Blueprints ready to ship out....

Our first order of Blueprints for TMF 001 feature bike have arrived. I'm over the moon with the quality of reproduction. We had a 200MB scan of the original drawing by Bryon Fitzpatrick done then shipped it over to a bespoke printer in Sydney that takes his job very seriously indeed.

We have two grades of paper available in the shop. The standard base grade paper which is a satin photographic paper, and a full cotton rag art grade paper that is completely matt finish

Head over to the shop at THEMACHINEFILES.COM.AU to pick up a print or if you have some spare cash maybe the original drawing....

few little things to do, but the 300km shakedown run went pretty well on the weekend. Two brand new fork seals are weeping, cant understand that one, and the main breather pipe struck a leak and decided to spew oil everywhere. Aside from the speedo cable giving it up thats it.
