no cars, no tourists, no nothing except the leaves on the road, a setting sun, and a ducati at 6000 rpm.

minutes after i had mikes sprocket cherry red it still looked like this.....im going to bore the centre out of this tomorrow and prepare it for welding to the main shaft extension.....
just did a tour of japan and west coast USA and being the biker that he is visited all the best places (im too jealous).....here's a sweet k in tokyo. whoever owns it...nice one mate.
joe got this 60 a while back (kind of special cause he was born the same year and he'd been looking for the right bike for a long time.....but it was all over the shop, not firing properly and breaking down under load, running rough and all the other stuff that drive you nuts....
i fitted an old 6v norton coil i had around...sorry...lucas not norton...and instantly it improved...so i ordered a new repro coil, new leads, points and spent some time getting the linkert dialed in...
i had my camera on the wrong settings and so all my shots came out dark....but...i kindo like them. god created some beautiful bikes. 
hes been working hard on this one for a while....when is she coming down to get a workout on the dirt roads mate....?
heres part one...the original triumph crank sprocket.....and a section i machined up to fit the rear of that sprocket. im going to anneal the sprocket and then take out the inside section to allow me to fit nut home.
next im going to machine the standard wl sprocket to accept my spacer.....lengthy process ...maybe someone has done something similar and can let me know how they did it....
