52....

about 8 or so years ago my wife spotted a car driving through newtown in sydney....it spun her head around about 360 degrees and the love affair started....a couple of years later after seeing it many times and loving it every time we saw it together and we both stood in the street looking at this thing shaking and the hardest lookin mother driving it and we went very very weak in the legs... no less than a week or so later i ended up meeting the bloke who owned it and he striped my 50 norton.....we became friends and now hes one of the few i call a mate.... since then we (my wife and i) had been in the chev a couple of times...going to the drags and rods shows and stuff and we always said that given the chance we would buy it.....well the chance came up and now it resides at machine. its one hell of a car....it was built by a hell of a bloke who had a lot of trouble letting it go after 12 years of work....but hes a mate and he can still drive it any time he wants....im just very happy that my wife finally gets to drive it into town and make all those babies and women cry.... thanks daz...for being such a motherfucker... ...

machine 1 ... my bandsaw....

...ive been wanting to post some photos of my machines since i started this blog but never had a camera that could take the right photos.....no excuses now... heres some shots of my bandsaw.... pehaka..made in 1961 in west germany...blade length is 2400mm...its a ripper...the job never gets hot cause the blade is so long...its got a built in welder and grinder so that if you snap a blade or have a roll of blade then you can repair or make your own.... its one of the best machines i ever bought....and i use it all the time..
