BRAKE PLATE BRACKET

the brake plate bracket had been cut off the frame so i made a new one to fit.

50 PAN

been workin hard on the 50 lately...got the frame back from the blaster and had to do some serious work gettin it right.....shes straight it was just all the raking and deraking that had gone on made for some messy welding by some crazy dude at some stage....tanks all mounted up.....sittin low enough i had to put a scallop in on the bottom to clear the rear rocker cover... the rear guard is looking good.....also the stay is partly there......

48 pan for sale

the pan is up for sale...gotta keep movin on the projects. 48 el, original springer and original straight leg frame. top end nice and fresh, new 12 volt genny and electrics, 10 months nsw rego. rides like it should. email me at machineshed@bigpond.com for further info.

...hit the road back to sydney yesterday with a change of paint and some other little things done......its runnin like a top thanks to ditchin the chinese repro coil....i can recommend staying away from cheap coils...the last photo was taken just outside goulburn....i think it was a field of canola or something ...such amazing colour.

.....just arrived in my postbox. in it is my 48 pan. that makes me feel great. i gotta thank matt and dean for runnin it in the mag...since issue 8 when they ran the atlas, my life has definitely changed for the better...i have a whole new world to play and work in now... thanks blokes......dont know where the "be a man...ride a pan" shot came from but thanks.

xs 650 update

the xs is nearly there...up to joycy for wiring the week after next and then we can see how she goes.

in case anyone has been wondering if im getting slack....no posts....nope, im just working my arse off at the moment...ive got another two weeks and then ill put up what ive been working on...thanks for all the emails after the bike EXIF thing....nothing makes you feel quite as good as your peers telling you your doing ok...so thanks blokes.

took the commando for a ride today...new swing arm bushes, rear alloy rim and battery...its such a nice bike to ride..just needs another gear. its pretty well ready to strip now...its gonna get norvilised..i need a bike with a faring for those country roads...but bad...

picked up some chroming last week...just bits and pieces... had them done at blu chrome in sydney after telling all the thieves in canberra to go fuck themselves. 1/2 the price and perfect job.....no fuss.
