straight leg.....

...thought id post some shots of the new vtwin straight leg thats in the shed...i could have used some shots as a reference when making a decision to recommend this frame or not...anyhow, it looks great...there were two straight leg frames to choose from.....apparently one made in the US and one off shore. (maybe someone can confirm that)..this was the more expensive of the two but extremely well priced. cheap even.

just got home from a few days away with my girl, the 48, and the dog. i hit the road the other day and did a flat out ride through the highlands to the coast for a day...just near home i broke the clutch cable so i just hopped gears to the place we were staying ...a place i designed a few years back for my mate joe....my girl met me there in the car with the dog so i just waited til we were leaving and loaded her up for a cross country drive home....i didnt take any shots on the ride cause i was too busy enjoying myself but heres one today...i love that bike. anyways, thought id take this opportunity to thank everyone for tuning in and following my stuff here....i hope you all have a safe christmas and a good start to the next year....peace.

one of my earliest memories...

...was our family friends blown big block chev speed boat called somethin special....he lived a couple doors down from us and when he started that thing up the whole neighbourhood heard it. we used to go up to wisemans and get behind it in a big tractor tube and camp out and have big fires and watch the oldies drink...all day was the sound of v8s up and down the river..life was loud and simple. ill never get tired of that sound.

...i just got my copy of gkm today... we have just cooked dinner and had a nice bottle of wine to celebrate. so nice to have a copy of the magazine in hand...ive been driving to the post box every day to see if its there like a little kid. thanks guy.

....im super totally stoked that the 50 was chosen by Guy to be on the cover of GK 18....Guy has been nothing but encouraging of my work over the last 5 or 6 years and im so glad that he thought the 50 was good enough to be in the mag...let alone the cover....thanks mate... im gonna say a big thanks to my good friend kelly sturgiss who helped me with all the photos....thanks miss im sure its not the last thing we will do together.... thanks joe for letting me spend your money...you know your the only one that can ride that thing!!!!
