about 8 or so years ago my wife spotted a car driving through newtown in sydney....it spun her head around about 360 degrees and the love affair started....a couple of years later after seeing it many times and loving it every time we saw it together and we both stood in the street looking at this thing shaking and the hardest lookin mother driving it and we went very very weak in the legs...
no less than a week or so later i ended up meeting the bloke who owned it and he striped my 50 norton.....we became friends and now hes one of the few i call a mate....
since then we (my wife and i) had been in the chev a couple of times...going to the drags and rods shows and stuff and we always said that given the chance we would buy it.....well the chance came up and now it resides at machine.
its one hell of a car....it was built by a hell of a bloke who had a lot of trouble letting it go after 12 years of work....but hes a mate and he can still drive it any time he wants....im just very happy that my wife finally gets to drive it into town and make all those babies and women cry....
thanks daz...for being such a motherfucker...
...
...i rode the xs this morning and when i left home it was before the sun came up and it must have been like 3 or 4 degrees....it was fucken cold as...my visor kept fogging up and my fingers were white when i got in town....stopped just as the sun came over the hill on my way....sometimes living in the country is really the best.
.....a couple of weeks ago i took a trip to queensland to check out some stuff....and found myself at the Australian Motorcycle Museum,....in Haigslea...there i met the museum owner alan and his missus....i forgot her name but i heard stories of her riding skills roundin up the boys....
if you are anywhere near this place i suggest a drop in...some serious bikes here im tellin ya...anyway...they were real nice and thanks to Soapy for takin me out there....
